Light Blue Optics: Touchable Projections

Light Blue Optics has developed a projector that instantly transforms any flat surface into a touch screen. Using Holographic Laser Projection (HLP) technology, sensors monitor a users movement around the projection, including clicking, to effectively deliver a solution which allows for touch screen capability on any surface. Applications for such a solution are endless.

Microsoft Research: Manual Deskterity

A new interface being developed by Microsoft’s research facility. Dubbed Manual Deskterity, the application will be used on Microsoft Surface (the multi-touch computing platform) to combine a pen with touch actions.
